1. What is your background and experience as an individual and couples counseling therapist?

Sara Forsythe Menna is a licensed clinical social worker who has been practicing for over 20 years.  She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University.  She believes that we all deserve to feel our best and experience joy in our relationships and lives. The therapeutic process can help develop a deeper understanding of our true selves and ourselves in relation to others. Through this understanding, growth can occur.

Sara works with individuals of all backgrounds, orientations, and stages in their lives.  She has a specialty in adoption and infertility. She is experienced in assisting dating couples, married couples, LGBTQ+ couples, and more. Sara provides a safe and inclusive space for all of her clients.

The duration and number of sessions can vary depending on the unique needs of each person.  Typically, sessions last 50 minutes, and the number of sessions required will be discussed and determined collaboratively with Sara.

Yes, Sara offers remote counseling services. She can conduct sessions via video conferencing, making it convenient for clients who cannot attend in person.
